News: From March to April 2026, I will be visiting the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon), within the Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC).
I am a lecturer (ATER) at the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne. Additionally, I am a Research Fellow at the Energy and Prosperity Chair and the EIEA Chair (ABS-UM6P and Mines ParisTech). I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Poitiers and the EIEA Chair (ABS-UM6P and Mines ParisTech). Recently, I worked at the World Bank Group as a consultant in the Development Research Group (DECRG), focusing specifically on the “Energy in Africa” Initiative.
During my thesis, I benefited from various training in economics, mining, energy, environmental economics, spatial econometrics, and GIS during my visit as a scholar to ASU (6 months), University of Coimbra (1 month), Friedrich Schiller University Jena (7 days), and UM6P (1.5 years), as well as short stays at Columbia University (7 days) and University of Oxford (7 days).
Previously, I graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s (Magister) grade at UCA (CERDI).
My research focuses on Natural Resources (Mining, Oil, and Gas), Energy Access, Crucial Minerals for the Energy Transition (App), Climate Change, Environment, and Development Economics in developing countries.
